Emmerdale has revealed Rebecca White’s fate – erm, again – by bringing her back to the village alive and well.
Tuesday’s episode (September 18) ended with Rebecca leaving Robert, Aaron and Victoria all gobsmacked as she turned up at the village’s graveyard just when they were mourning for her.
Robert (Ryan Hawley) had only just accepted that Rebecca must be dead, having found blood and signs of a struggle in the room where she was held captive by a mystery nurse.
However, the show’s latest cliffhanger saw Rebecca approach Robert, Aaron, Victoria and Seb in the midst of a poignant moment at Sarah Sugden’s grave.
Just as Rebecca’s loved ones were discussing planting a tree for her next to the grave of Robert’s mum, Rebecca appeared from nowhere in a hospital gown and couldn’t wait to be reunited with her baby son.
The big moment finally clears up Rebecca’s fate for good this time, after three death fakeouts kept fans guessing (or maybe not…) over the past few weeks.
So, how did Rebecca escape the clutches of that weird nurse? Will she ever come face-to-face with Lachlan again? And is there any chance of a Ross/Rebecca reunion now she’s back? All looks set to be revealed in future episodes…
