If you keep up with Clevver regularly, you KNOW that we love a good nail trend, but it seems like every day these new manicures just get crazier and crazier! For example, a couple of weeks ago, Instagram user @nail_sunny posted a video of ant nails, which was not just drawings of ants, but rather LITERAL bugs crawling on the inside of acrylics. GROSS!
While we thought we’d seen it all after the ant nails hit the internet, @nail_sunny is back at it again with something just as unique and, if we’re being honest, a lot more functional. The manicurist created replicas of Starbucks’ iconic green-and-white cups that actually have the ability to hold liquid that you can sip straight from the nail decal. Say whaaaat?!
Now that you’ve seen the proof for yourself, you’re probably completely SHOOK, but don’t worry… you’re not alone. Tons of people have flooded the comments of the post with their own opinions on the nail art, and NGL, it’s kinda fun to see how people are totally freaking out over @nail_sunny’s latest creation.
One person wrote, “Out of control. Your nail techs are talented AF,” with another person adding, “People have way too much time on their hands.”
Well, while that may be true, we have to say that we’re pretty much living for all of this bizarre nail art, and even though we’ll never try any of it out for ourselves, you can be sure we’ll be keeping our eyes glued to @nail_sunny’s Insta to see what wacky nail trend she comes up with next!
