The pair were discussing double chins, with Susanna using a handheld camera to zoom in on their faces.
Piers joked "are you fat-shaming me?" as Susanna talked about flabby chins.
But she quickly replied: "No, I'm fat-shaming myself!"
Piers returned with a confidence-boosting: "You're looking quite hot, I think."
Susanna hit back: "Thanks… Well it is quite hot in here."
The flirty exchange came after Susanna confirmed she's lost a stone since ditching booze.
The star is doing dry September and has seen fantastic results so far.
Last week she told her co-hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway: "I am sober for September, is that a thing?
"I've decided no alcohol for the entire month."
She joked: "I decided that last night."
Earlier in the show, Susanna shared a clip of her trying to get singer Paul Weller to speak to her co-star who was in the press pen on the red carpet at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards.
But the Modfather snubbed her, much to her embarrassment.
She told Kate and Ben: "Another journalist said he wasn't doing any press but she said we might have had a chance if I could get him, but I didn't."
But one person she did get to speak to was guest of honour, Prince Charles, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
As the future King came off the stage after receiving his gong he made a beeline for Susanna and told her to "enjoy her dinner".
Susanna was delighted that the brief chat with the royal made Piers furious, as Charles spoke to her and not him.
