Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale share three beautiful children together: Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4.
But like most couples after a split — co-parenting isn’t always smooth sailing.
A source tells Us Weekly that on Wednesday, the former couple turned to outside help to mediate their co-parenting issues.
The insider explains:
“Gwen and Gavin have been in mediation all day since 10:30 a.m. at their respective lawyer’s office building in Los Angeles. Their lawyers occupy the same building so logistically it was easy to facilitate.”
The source notes that attorneys Anne Kiley and Laura Wasser are representing the No Doubt singer and the English musician, respectively.
The ex-spouses split back in 2015, and have since moved on with other partners. Stefani famously started dating country singer Blake Shelton following her divorce, while Rossdale has been linked to model Sophia Thomalla since 2017.
While it’s not exactly clear if these new romances have anything to do with the recent butting of heads, the source confirms that the couple’s children is the main priority:
“The hope is at the end of this, both Gwen and Gavin will agree to take co-parenting classes as that will only benefit the children.”
We’ll keep you updated on how this plays out!
