Tory Lanez made a surprise appearance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden over the weekend to join Drake for a performance of the song “Shooters.”
After completing the Canadian leg of the “Aubrey & The Three Migos” tour, Drake and his team landed in New York City Friday night for four nights of concerts.
“New York City, I want you to make some noise for my motherf***ing brother from my hometown. He goes by the name of Tory Lanez,” Drake said while introducing Lanez.
Drizzy introduced the special guest after playing a variety of songs such as “Emotionless,” “Elevate,” “Energy,” “Free Smoke,” “Headlines,” “For Free,” and “Yes Indeed.”
Then another special guest shared the stage with Drake – his co-headliners Migos.
After playing his final song of the night, Drake paid tribute to the MSG crowd by saying, “I make music for you and you appreciate it. That means the world to me. That’s the reason I’m stage. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I’m a kid from Canada and I have seven nights at Madison Square Garden. Me and you built this together. It’s not just me.”
