The man, aged in his 40s, was rushed to hospital after the shooting on Thursday evening.
The Metropolitan Police said they were called to the shooting at 8.40pm.
A statement said: “A man, aged in his 40s, has gone to hospital.
“We await assessment of his condition.
“No arrest at this stage. Cordons in place at the scene."
Today's shooting is the third in the capital in just four days.
CCTV footage emerged of a hooded thug opening fire in broad daylight near to Rayners Lane tube station.
The incident is thought to be related to an ongoing turf war between two rival drill gangs.
On August 20 three people were injured in a drive-by shooting outside Kingsbury tube station at about 9.45pm.
A woman, 30, and two men – aged 18 and 24 – were rushed to hospital with gun shot wounds.
On the same day two men were gunned down by balaclava-wearing moped thugs.
The victims, aged 18 and 24, were found with gunshot wounds close to Rayners Lane station.
So far this year there have been 89 murders in the capital.
