The Yorkshire Oaks is the big race of the day as ITV once again show four races on the Knavesmire.
The action kicks off at 1.55pm with the Group 3 Lowther over 6f for juveniles.
FAIRYLAND was third behind the useful Main Edition in the Albany and on a line through that horse I think she will take all the beating for Aidan O'Brien.
The step up in trip should suit and I have a feeling she will have a bit more speed than Angel's Hideaway who is useful.
Next is a valuable Yearling Sales contest for youngsters over 6f at 2.25pm.
EBOR FESTIVAL 2018 All you need to know about the action at York this week
MASARU faces a very different test to when hacking up on debut at Lingfield for Richard Hannon, but he's clearly useful and might well be capable of coping with this type of event.
Interesting to see how he goes in the market against the other Hannon runners.
There's a handicap over nearly 1m at 3.00pm. ORIGINAL CHOICE is up 3lb after another good run at Goodwood, but I have a feeling this will suit the William Haggas runner well.
1.55 York – Fairyland: 'Her form makes her the one to beat today'
2.25 York – Masarub: 'Useful and keep a close eye on the market'
3.00 York – Original Choice: 'This test should really suit'
3.35 York – Sea Of Class: 'Progressive all season and will tkae plenty of beating'
The fact he's raced up to 1m2f is a bonus and hard to keep out the frame in his current form.
Finally the feature, the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks over nearly 1m4f at 3.35pm. Some of my favourite horses in here but there's no way I don't think SEA OF CLASS will hack up for Haggas.
She's been progressive all season (having been nearly untrained at Christmas) and was brilliant in the Yorkshire Oaks.
Will take a lot of beating and there should be a strong gallop to run at which suits so well.
So once again good luck and pray for Yeeehaaas!
