The 24-year-old pulled the plug on a number of big nights across the UK after leaving the villa.
Megan’s decision is all part of her plan to become a global superstar, as her pals told The Sun Online last month.
And now her representative has spoken out and confirmed Megan’s career trajectory is a world away from some of her co-stars, who’re partying every week for huge pay cheques.
Megan’s rep told The Mirror: “These PA tours although very lucrative require spending three to four nights a week away from home travelling around the country, sometimes to multiple venues per night, venue to venue in the back of a vehicle, eating from motorway service stations while getting very little sleep.
“Megan just didn’t feel this was something she wanted to do. She is instead focused on a few key projects which she will let people know about over the coming weeks/months.”
Earlier this month The Sun Online revealed how Megan, who’s dating her fellow islander Wes Nelson, had turned down over £100,000 in paid advertising deals.
A friend explained: Megan is keen to change her public image and wants to put her glamour girl reputation behind her for good.
“She’s turned down over £100,000 of paid Instagram advertising in the last week alone and cancelled all her PA’s because she’s serious about making it as a model.
“Megan knows she’s too curvy for catwalk but wants to see what’s out there.
“She has meetings with big agencies like Select.”
This month, The Sun Online revealed how nightclub bosses had branded Megan and Wes “Britain's most hated couple”.
It happened after Megan cancelled an appearance at a club in a Scottish venue, only to make a free appearance with Wes at a rival venue a week later.
