Natalie Portman has moved from Annihilation to ascension!
The debut of the Black Swan star’s upcoming musical has just been announced on the website of the Venice Film Festival — along with a first look at its star’s glam new look.

According to the official description of Vox Lux, Natalie plays “a young woman who survives a traumatic shooting and goes on to become an international pop sensation” called simply Celeste.
The 15-year story costars Jude Law and will feature songs by Sia and music by Under The Skin composer Mica Levi.
