New moms: Khloé Kardashian has your back. The 34-year-old reality TV star, who gave birth to her first child on April 12, has shared a list of comments no mother with a young baby wants to hear.
To avoid an awkward moment — or a dirty look — the mom of 3-month-old True strongly recommends avoiding the question, “Did you deliver naturally?” As she explains in the app post published on Thursday, August 9: “My vagina, its past, its present, its future — is none of your business. Period.”
Another no-no includes inquiries about breast-feeding. According to Kardashian, it’s too “personal” and a sensitive topic for many women. “You never know the private struggles someone could be going through and how terrible it may be making them feel,” she pointed out. (The Strong Looks Better Naked author host revealed on Twitter in June that she “had to stop” nursing True, explaining “It wasn’t working for my body. Sadly.”)
Kardashian also isn’t a fan of when people say “You look tired,” “Your baby cries a lot,” and “I never see you anymore.” She noted that “a new mom is likely already sad about this” and these types of statements “will most definitely cause tears or anger.”
Weight is another subject that belongs in the “Don’t” category. “The scale is the opposite of a new mom’s happy place,” the Revenge Body host told fans in her post. “I’ve been pretty damn lucky with my weight loss (trust, it’s been WORK!) but everybody loses the lbs at their own place.”
Kardashian, who shares True with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, revealed last month that she has shed 33 pounds since welcoming her bundle of joy.
