The 35-year-old former footballer stunned today after making a shocking confession about Ashley Cole and Cheryl in a preview from his tell-all book.
And his pals are said to be determined to make sure he keeps his mouth shut about them in the house.
One source told The Sun Online: “Jermaine is like a loose cannon.
“He'll say whatever he wants in the Big Brother house and it is freaking people out.
“Jermaine’s friends and his old football teammates are worried about what could come out.
“They’re meeting up with him today to talk it through and will urge him to keep their secrets out of the public domain.”
Jermaine’s shocking revelations in his new book have left his pals reeling, and some have even threatened to cut ties with him if he talks about their secrets in public.
The insider added: “Cheryl and Ashley will be worried when the book comes out, and similarly when he's on CBB.
“Jermaine and Ashley were wing men when they lived together at Princes Park Manor.
“When Girls Aloud moved into the complex, Jermaine was there when Cheryl used to come round for Ashley. He watched them fall in love and knows all about it.
“Jermaine could risk all his A-list friendships if he talks about what went on, both in and out of the football dressing room.”
The Sun Online has contacted Jermaine’s representative for comment.
In a new extract from his book Mental, Jermaine boasted about how footballers played a sick 'monopoly' game where they rated and used women for sex.
He also said once Ashley had locked himself and Cheryl in his flat when his girlfriend returned home unexpectedly.
