Josh Denzel says he was ‘public enemy number 1’ after dumping Georgia Steel

Josh Denzel said he feared the public backlash on his exit from the Love Island villa after he brutally dumped Georgia Steel for Kaz Crossley.

The former presenter appeared on ITV’s Lorraine with his partner Kaz, and told Christine Lampard he was concerned about the public’s reaction to some of his antics in the villa.

However he was happy to find people wanted pictures with him, even "blocking traffic" to get to him.

He said: "People are stopping in their vans saying, ‘Oi geezer, can I have a picture,’ like blocking traffic."

When Christine mentioned some people may not have been happy about his actions in the villa when he dumped Georgia for Kaz, he sarcastically replied: "Yeah, a few in the country."

He continued: "I knew that it was going to cause a bit of a stir but as I said in there I had to go with my gut and it’s worked out for the best, hasn’t it?"

The couple later had to do a "love test" where Josh revealed he was "public enemy number one" for part of his time in the villa, meaning he was clearly the one to have the worst public approval out of the two of them.

The pairing revealed who they believed to be the most loyal, and Josh said he thought it was him, though Kaz disagreed after his antics in the villa.

Christine then revealed Josh would be back on the show next week for a little while, as he would be acting as Mr Showbiz for a couple of weeks over the holidays.

Josh caused a massive controversy when he returned to the villa from Casa Amor with Kaz on his arm, despite his then partner Georgia sleeping outside to avoid any contact with any other blokes.
