One Direction star confirms he'll be joining Louis Tomlinson at X Factor

One Direction fans will be buzzing to hear that two of the band’s stars are having a reunion.

Cheeky chappy Niall Horan has confirmed that he will be joining Louis Tomlinson at the X Factor.

To everyone’s disappointment One Direction split in 2016 but Niall and Louis have remained firm friends ever since.

The former bandmates are set to get together at some stage during the new series but it remains to be seen in what capacity.

Some fans have previously speculated that Niall could give Louis a helping hand at Judges’ Houses.

During a Q&A session on Instagram, Niall was asked: "Would you like to join/visit Louis in the Xfactor?"

He replied: "Of course. Can’t wait to go down and see him in action."

This means the Irish singer will definitely be heading down to the X Factor studios.

It seems like Louis will need all the help he can get from his buddy.

There was a lot of drama during the filming of Louis’ Six Chair Challenge thanks to a contestant falling of the stage.

The audience screamed in horror when one of the singers in Louis’ Boys category took a tumble down a five foot drop.

Tommy, a kitchen porter, sent the auditions into chaos when he accidentally fell backwards off the stage and brought filming to a standstill.

Panicked presenter Dermot O’Leary was seen sprinting to the back of the stage to help Tommy while several crew members dashed over.

Louis told him: "Lad, you scared the living daylights out of me. I’m really glad you’re ok because that was very scary."

Tommy was deemed fit enough to carry on after being checked over off camera by the show’s medical team.
