Khloe K. Hits Back at Mom-Shamers While Attending Event Without True

Khloé Kardashian refuses to be mom-shamed. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star clapped back at trolls who criticized her for leaving her 3-month-old daughter, True, at home to attend a charity event.

“Mommy shamers r at a high right now. I’m sick, at a charity event & I’m getting slack 4being here bc I have a baby?” she tweeted on Sunday, July 29. “Her dad [Tristan Thompson] is watching her while I’m trying 2bring awareness 2an amazing organization. But either way, what’s wrong w a new mom letting daddy take over 4a few hours?”

Kardashian, 34, and some of her famous family members — including mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner — attended the “If Only” Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament at The Forum in Inglewood, California, on Sunday evening. It was hosted by City of Hope, which focuses on research and treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

“I’m so excited to be here to help raise money for such an amazing organization [which] brings hope and important research and care … to so many people, including people who can’t afford it,” Kris, 62, told Us Weekly at the event. “That makes me really happy.”

Khloé has been vocal about motherhood on Twitter since giving birth in April. When one critic called True “not cute at all” on July 7, the new mom fired back: “What self-respecting adult would even comment on a child’s appearance? What type of disgusting human are you? It’s pathetic that you are this miserable in your life. … People are entitled to their own feelings but why on earth would you tweet that and if you must why would you tag me?”

Though her new role is going well so far, the Good American designer cannot say the same for her relationship with Thompson, 27, who was caught cheating on her with multiple women while she was pregnant. “Khloé and Tristan are still not fully OK,” a source says exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly. “They act like they are when they’re in front of others, but it’s all a show at this point.”
