With four kids — under the age of 5 — Hilaria Baldwin knows her baby gear. And right now the yoga instructor is obsessed with the Fresco high chair from Bloom.
“It’s really cool!” Baldwin, 34, raved to Us Weekly, adding that the system resembles something out of “The Jetsons.” The sleek high chair, designed to seat newborns to children who weigh 79 pounds, boasts micro-suede upholstery in 14 hues. And shoppers can choose from five frame colors including rose gold. Just be prepared for sticker shock — prices start at $550.
The mom of Carmen, 4, Rafael, 3, Leonardo, 22 months, and 8-week-old Romeo, uses the Fresco with all of her little ones. “For Raf and Leo, who are still in high chairs, they have the tray on,” Baldwin told Us. “And then for Carmen, who doesn’t need a high chair anymore, it turns into a bar stool.” (The height goes up to 36 inches!)
At meal time, the fitness guru puts her littles ones in a row and then goes down the line. “We try to have things be as efficient as possible,” Baldwin explained. “Everything from bath time to eating time. Everything.”
The Living Clearly Method author’s husband, Alec Baldwin, shares her parenting philosophies. “He is very, very, very, very organized, which means that he is obsessed with organizing their toys,” Hilaria explained. She then teased that the 60-year-old actor is “slightly jealous” of their building blocks and action figures. “A plastic train goes missing and we’ll find it in his office, on his desk,” she laughed. “Like, OK. You’re literally stealing the children’s toys because you like them.”
Though the couple split responsibilities, Hilaria admitted she is the primary when it comes to things such as making baby food. “I’m definitely the one that’s going to feed them and change diapers and stuff like that,” she told Us. “And part of that is his old school part. And part of it is that I have a personality — and it’s an annoying thing in my personality — where I literally think that the way I do it compared to him is better. And between you and me, it is better!”
