Teens wearing ‘Scream’ masks rob woman at gunpoint: police

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee police say a woman was robbed at gunpoint by several people who sounded like teens and were wearing “Scream” masks.

WTVF-TV reports the woman was about to take her 3-month-old nephew out of his car seat Wednesday night when someone pointed a rifle at her. The woman says she ordered to get on the ground and someone took her car keys. She says she then told them there was a baby in the car.

She says the thieves then took her diaper bag, threw her car keys at her and drove off in another vehicle. Metro Nashville police say an officer spotted the suspect’s vehicle and gave chase but lost them. The car was later found abandoned and had previously been stolen. It’s unclear how many people were involved.
