Shocking moment gun-wielding dad confronts naked man he claimed had stripped off in front of kids at a local playground

The gun-wielding dad, Tae Lovelace, was with his two young children and other relatives when they spotted the nude man in the city park.

The family were in Trailblazer Park, near Atlanta, Georgia, volunteering to feed the homeless.

The 21 year-old naked man then approached them – at which point the father-of-two unholstered his gun and demanded the man lie down.

In the video, he can be heard yelling:  "You got naked in front of my kids!

" I got the f****** police coming up here".

Lovelace holds a firearm license.

In Georgia, however, gun laws are more relaxed than in other states and a permit to open carry a shotgun is not required.

In the video, he can be seen pointing the gun at the naked man as he emerges from a creek.

Before this video was filmed, Lovelace had reportedly chased the man around the park – through a basketball court, children’s playground and then finally to the location of filming.

Tae Lovelace told Fox 5 that "it could've went sour" if he hadn't defended himself.

Lovelace described how the man seemed to be visibly "under the influence of something".

He added: "I didn't know what he was capable of doing

"I'm a family man.  I had to protect my family by all means."

When officers arrived, they ordered Tae Lovelace to put his gun down.

Local reports say that officers then arrested the naked man and charged him with child molestation, public indecency and being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
