Royal fans think Meghan Markle’s baby is due sooner than we thought

Royal fans are speculating that Meghan Markle’s baby is due sooner than we thought after the Duchess stepped out in a fitted gown.

The Duchess looked stunning as she arrived at a state banquet in Fiji in a floor-length blue gown by label SAFiYAA at a black tie reception on the first night of in Fiji.

Her outfit, worn with her hair down, was by German-born London-based designer Daniela Karmuts, and well and truly showed off her baby bump as it clung to her stomach.

The 37-year-old former actress cradled the bump as she met with guests including diplomats, local business leaders and the cream of Fijian society for a champagne reception.

But, as the pictures circulated across the world, royal fans were taken aback by how big her bump looked and how quickly it seems to be growing.

The pregnancy announcement was made by Kensington Palace on Twitter and said the couple would be expecting a baby in the spring of 2019.

It read: "Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019."

But now, many fans on social media are saying the Duchess could be due earlier than we all thought, judging by the size of her bump.

And some even speculated she could be expecting twins.

Writing on Facebook, Belinda Robinson said: "Geez that got bigger really quick. Could be twins, as a 4-month bump is not usually that prominent."

Margy Alice added: "She looks lovely I think she’s further along then people think maybe close on 5 months. Just saying."

Susie Lindsay agreed, commenting: "I think he/she will arrive in March. It will be nice for her if he/she arrives on Mother’s Day like my son did."

While Catherine Killeen Baker said the time of day could affect how big or small Meghan’s bump looks.

She said: "She looks much bigger, all the other photos were day time. I remember in the evenings my bump would just expand. She looks fabulous."
