Police had launched a desperate hunt to find Kieron Andrews after he went missing.
Humberside police had said he was last seen at around 3.30pm today in a dark blue jumper with a red collar, blue jeans and dark trainers.
Cops confirmed "multiple agencies" were involved in the search for Kieron.
They later said he had been found "safe and well".
The force tweeted: "9 year old Kieron Andrews has just been found safe and well by Officers in Grimsby. A big thank you to everyone for your shares and retweets."
Cops had earlier launched a desperate search, tweeting: "Can you help locate Kieron Andrews 9 years old missing from Cleethorpes seafront for the last hour.
"Kieron is 4ft tall, skinny build, brown hair wearing a blue and red jumper, blue jeans and black trainers.
"Please help by sharing and re tweeting these posts."
