Is XXXTentacion really dead, what are the conspiracy theories that about him faking his own death and what are the No Pulse rumours?

But false rumours have spread on social media claiming the controversial artist's death was faked — despite police identification and extensive investigations.

What are the XXXTentacion conspiracy theories?

XXXTentacion, 20, was gunned down as he left a motorcycle dealership on the afternoon of June 18, 2018.

According to TMZ, witnesses told cops a Louis Vuitton bag was stolen from the rapper's car where he was found with "no pulse".

Police confirmed the rapper, real name Jahseh Onfroy, suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead in Broward Health North hospital.

But conspiracy theorists presented misleading or false "evidence" to suggest the killing was faked.

One YouTube video titled "XXXTENTACION GOES LIVE ON INSTAGRAM AND CONFIRMS THAT HE IS NOT DEAD" has been viewed millions of times.

It alleges to show X talking to his fans telling them that reports of his death were fake and that it was staged for a music video.

But the video was originally part of an Instagram Live the rapper filmed some time ago.

It was made after a video of the rapper with a noose around his neck was posted to his Instagram — footage that later appeared in the music video for the song Look At Me.

What did XXXTentacion say about his own death?

The rapper predicted his own death in a chilling Instagram video he filmed before he was fatally shot in Florida.

He said: "If worse thing comes to worst, and I f***ing die or some s*** and I’m not able to see out my dreams, I at least want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves and able to take my message and use it and turn it into something positive and to at least have a good life.

"If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least five million kids happy or they found some sort of answers or resolve in my life regardless of the negative around my name, regardless of the bad things people say to me."

What are the No Pulse rumours?

There are also baseless rumours that XXXTentacion is due to release an album titled No Pulse.

Fans say that his death was staged as a publicity stunt and that the album will be called No Pulse after witnesses said he had “no pulse” when he was found.

They have been circulating the theory without a shred of evidence.

Some have pointed to alleged footage of the scene of his murder and say it looks staged — but so far none have backed up their claims.

Also, X appeared to be using the working titled Skins for his upcoming album.

In April he posted a photo of yellow construction tape on his Instagram page with a caption that read “skins ‘the album’ coming soon". He later took down the pic.
