Footage of female inmates inside the jail for Britain’s most dangerous women has been leaked for the first time as the prison smartphone crisis reaches female jails.
Hundreds of videos of male inmates fighting, taking drugs and calling home on smuggled phones have been leaked online as the government fails to get a grip on the crisis of crime committed behind bars.
Now, for the first time, illegally filmed videos from inside HMP Bronzefield, a Category A prison for women and young offenders, has emerged.
The jail houses some of Britain’s most dangerous female killers, including Becky Watts killer Shauna Hoare, serial killer Joanna Dennehy and transgender double rapist Jessica Winfield.
Footage believed to have been filmed on the mother and baby wing of the prison near Ashford was found on a public Instagram page by MailOnline.
In one video, at least five women chat while they sit with newborn infants in a nursery, with the caption ‘free the team’.
But in another, shot inside a nearby cell, the women laugh as they brandish a small mobile phone.
The scenes have all been filmed by smartphones smuggled into the jail.

HMP Bronzefield is the only purpose-built private prison, solely for women in the UK, and is the largest female prison in Europe.
The sprawling prison which has room for 527 inmates also features a mother and baby wing where the children can stay after birth.
When they are old enough to be separated from their jailed mothers they are usually placed in the custody of family members, prison sources said.
It is believed this is where the footage was shot.

Mobile phone clips have never been leaked from Sodexo-run HMP Bronzefield before.
An HMP Bronzefield spokesperson said: ‘Mobile phones are a challenge across the whole prison estate. Our staff at HMP Bronzefield work very hard to prevent these items getting into the prison.
‘We have taken appropriate action in the prison and reported this incident to the police.’

While the women appear to be simply chatting in the video, they will now be investigated by police for the footage since possession of a phone in prison is a criminal offence.
In a second clip, a woman talking on a tiny smuggled phone claims to be drinking alcohol.
She says: ‘What fam? You ain’t got my money, nah?
‘What you sayin’ fam? My G. I ain’t even on spice, me on rum.’
Other inmates laugh and egg her on in the background as they tell her to show them her phone for the camera.
Bronzefield is home to some of the nation’s most dangerous women including serial killer Joanna Dennehy who stabbed three men to death and tried to murder at least two more claiming it was ‘moreish’ and ‘fun’.
Courtney Brierley, 20, is also believed to be imprisoned there.
She was jailed over the deaths of Demi Pearson, 15, and her siblings Brandon, 8, Lacie, seven and three-year-old Lia in an arson attack in Walkden.

She only had three months left to serve but repeatedly self-harmed.
Miss Walker had self-harmed 235 times during her time behind bars, the jury of seven women and four men heard.
