Mattea Goff, from Texas, was exhausted as she spent the night feeding her five-month-old baby Aurora, next to her sleeping husband Kris.
Writing on Facebook, she recalled finding it difficult to explain to him every morning why she was grumpy.
Describing her cartoon on Facebook, she wrote: "So this past weekend I was having a hard time finding the words (probably because I haven't had any sleep) to express to Kris why I'm not in the best of moods first thing in the morning.
"So I sat down with my coffee and drew him a visual."
Just under the picture of Kris and his "useless nipples", it says "2 hours later". She appears almost deranged as her eyes are painfully wide awake.
But right beside her, Kris appears smug in his deep sleep while the baby cries.
A third drawing shows Mattea breastfeeding Aurora, as Kris sleeps with his "still useless nipples".
The baby vomits in front of her, and she wrote "well I need to clean that up".
Her post has now been shared more than 200,000 times, and 156,000 people have liked it.
One Facebook user commented and said: "This is so true!!"
Another wrote: "Couldn't of drawn it better myself haha."
Praising the cartoon another added: "You are so talented at this,you need to look in on making money off this and other drawings!…just sayin'."
