This comes as the Moroccan babe has been at the centre of a series of rows between her and Amber Turner.
The Towie babe was spotted arriving at The Holistic Boot Camp in Marbella after pulling out of filming the hit show.
A source told the MailOnline that the girlfriend of James 'Lockie' Lock had been struggling with depression so severe that she:
"Hasn't wanted to get out of bed."
The star was pictured with her head in her hands as she cried to a friend beside the retreat's pool.
She was later seen getting emotional to a member of staff who tried to comfort the clearly distressed star.
The insider explained: "It’s true that Yazmin has gone to Holistic Bootcamp in Marbella to escape her troubles.
"Things have just got too much for her on the show and issues with various cast members have really got her down.
Before adding: "She’s a very normal girl with no ego and she doesn’t need that negativity in her life."
They also went on to reveal that: "She’s been treated for anxiety there
"But it’s not been revealed that she’s also being treated for severe depression that has been debilitating to the point where she hasn’t wanted to get out of bed."
The source said that her boyfriend Lockie "is behind her 100% and like her friends and family, just wants her back to her old self and well again."
Yazmin's escape to Robert Hisee's Holistic Bootcamp comes after she's recently been embroiled in a series of rows with her fellow cast members.
The 25-year-old locked horns with Amber Turner after she accused her of trying to exclude her from the group.
But viewers called Yazmin "embarassing" and branded her relationship with Lockie "toxic."
After scenes aired on Sunday night, fans even took to Twitter to implore the couple to break up.
One tweeted: “Lockie and Yaz need to break up. Their relationship is so toxic!! On both sides.”
Another said: “Yaz and Lockie have a toxic relationship and they both need to realise that.”
While a third blasted: “Yaz and Lockie literally shouldn’t be together never seen anything so toxic.”
