Lewis feels Pulos crossed the line when she allegedly reported him to production for “a hostile work environment” and “abuse and victimization.”
Earlier this month, "Flipping Out" star Jeff Lewis confirmed he and his co-star/partner of 11 years, Jenni Pulos, had parted ways. Lewis said Pulos reported him to production for "a hostile work environment," "abuse and victimization" and "wrongfully terminating" her from the Bravo series.
Pulos has yet to speak on the alleged claims, but Lewis sure hasn’t shied away from the subject. On Monday’s "Watch What Happens Live," he told Andy Cohen he wasn’t sure if the two would ever be able to move forward.
"I’m a very, very forgiving guy, and I never say ‘never,’ but when someone reports you for abuse to your bosses, that’s kinda something that’s kinda hard to get over," Lewis said regarding the possibility of making amends with Pulos.
"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador was sitting beside Lewis and chimed in on the matter.
"I’ll make a prediction," she said. "I was saying this today — not in press but to a friend — I give it a couple years. I think it’s gonna take a couple years ’cause you are like me. It takes time to process."
Lewis simply replied, "Yeah," to Beador’s prediction, adding, "I’ve been watching the show, and I already miss her. I will tell you that. I already miss her. But when someone crosses the line, it’s kinda hard to get over."
Jenni did not immediately respond to TooFab’s request for comment.
Lewis first opened up about his former partner’s alleged accusations on Sept. 7 during his Sirius XM podcast, "Jeff Lewis Live."
"It is true," he said. "So Jenni and I did have a fight, which then resulted in a rift. This fight was no different than any other fight in the last 11 years of ‘Flipping Out.’ This was no different than me yelling at a contractor for being late or somebody screwing up and causing me $5,000 worth of repairs. On Monday, she doubled down, and allegedly, I was reported for wrongfully terminating her off her own show. And there were also allegations of a hostile work environment, so somebody’s talking to an attorney, which scares me."
"I was told that I was, allegedly, reported for abuse and victimization," Lewis continued. "My showrunner had to go frame by frame to confirm that there was no abuse. I have been cleared of all abuse [and] victimization charges."
The real estate speculator said the debacle made him realize there were "three people" who didn’t want to be in the office, but he said he was "surprised" Jenni was one of them.
"[I] was actually very surprised to hear that Jenni was one of them," Lewis said. "She said that she had given up her acting career to work for me, and that really hurt my feelings because I felt like I have done nothing but accommodate her for her auditions and meetings and all of that."
