Who is Samira Mighty?
Samira Mighty is a West End performer from London.
The 22-year-old is best known for starring in the musical Dreamgirls since November 2017, alongside co-stars Brennyn Lark, Marisha Wallace and Kimmy Edwards.
Theatre-goers might also recognise her from her appearances in Mamma Mia! and 2017's Beauty And The Beast.
The Millennium Performing Arts trained star is also a Mezzo-Soprano singer and an accomplished dancer.
Samira has also bragged about dumping Hollywood actor Chris Pine, which was revealed on the show during a game.
Why did Samira quit Love Island?
The Sun Online exclusively revealed that Samira Mighty quit the show after Frankie Foster was booted off.
After confiding in pal Dani Dyer, Samira decided to follow her heart and leave so she could pursue her connection with Frankie.
It came after a difficult Love Island journey for Samira, who was coupled up with Dr Alex and then Sam Bird – neither of which she had a personal connection with.
Fans were then outraged when Samira finally found that missing spark – and it was taken away from her.
The pair seemingly enjoyed an emotional reunion at the airport, with Samira leaping into Frankie's arms after she quit the villa.
However, an eyewitness exclusively told The Sun Online that their meeting appeared orchestrated for the TV cameras, and that they "filmed it twice" following discussions with a cameraman.
There's no doubting their genuine feelings for each other, though – with Frankie asking his beau to be his official girlfriend when they appeared on spin-off show Aftersun together.
Is Samira still dating Frankie Fowler?
On August 12, 2018 it was revealed that the couple were on the rocks after Frankie was caught on camera passionately kissing a woman behind Samira's back.
The latest scandal came after the reality star hunk had already been accused of cheating with 26-year-old Swede, Stephanie.
On August 13, 2018 it was revealed that the couple had split up.
What did Samira say about Love Island before she went in?
Before entering the villa, Samira said she’s “hot-headed” and won’t be backing down from a confrontation in the villa, stating that girls "can be catty".
She said: "I think there might be a bit of rivalry over guys.
"It wouldn’t phase me going head to head with someone for a guy.
"The biggest turn off would be if they weren’t funny.
"Even if they’re beautiful but have no personality and are just dry, I physically can’t have a conversation.
Samira added: "Another big turn off is spitting – it makes me feel physically sick."
