Lady Gaga is having a pretty big year with her highly acclaimed movie, A Star Is Born. She also came forward with some big personal news that she’s engaged to her talent agent, Christian Carino. So what all do you need to know? There are five things to know.
1. Christian Carino and Lady Gaga have reportedly been engaged since 2017
The singer started dating the talent agent back in 2017, according to Us Weekly. He then reportedly asked her father for his blessing before proposing to her in the summer. The two have laid low, but Lady Gaga has been seen wearing a pink diamond ring for some time. Their relationship was confirmed when Lady Gaga spoke at an Elle Women in Hollywood event on Oct. 15.
“Thank you to all the loved ones in my life,” she said. “[Manager] Bobby[Campbell], I love you. Everyone at table five. My fiancé, Christian. All the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day. And Ryan Murphy, thanks for giving me my first leading role [in American Horror Story: Hotel]. You know that Golden Globe belongs to you.”
2. He reportedly spent over $1 million on the ring
Page Six reports that the diamond ring is a rare one that comes at a big price. “A natural pink diamond of this saturation and size would be very rare, easily costing over $1 million,” Kathryn Money, Brilliant Earth‘s VP of strategy and merchandising told Page Six. “If made with a premium-quality pink sapphire, this ring would cost upwards of $100,000, depending on the characteristics of the specific gemstone.”
3. He works for Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and has other famous clients

According to The Sun, Carino not only represents Lady Gaga himself but other big stars. Those include young Hollywood stars like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Harry Styles. But also a producer that has made young music stars, Simon Cowell. He has other high profile clients with Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, and Amber Heard.
4. He was previously married to Brooke Baldwin
This won’t be the agent’s first marriage. He was married to Brooke Baldwin from 1997 to 2015. They have two daughters named Bella and Lola. Since the divorce, Carino has moved on dating someone else who has a high profile.
5. He previously dated Lauren Cohan

Lady Gaga isn’t the first celebrity he has been romantically linked with. He previously dated Lauren Cohan who stars on The Walking Dead. Not much is known about their relationship.
Of course, he’s not the only one in the relationship who has previously dated a celebrity. Lady Gaga was previously engaged to actor, Taylor Kinney before breaking the engagement in July 2016. In her documentary, she revealed a little as to why.
“Me and Taylor are fighting, so that sucks,” she said. “My threshold for bullsh*t with men is just—I don’t have one anymore. In relationships, you have to move together.”
It’s unknown when the couple plans to walk down the aisle.
