Victoria Beckham looks stunning in a nude corset as she calls her fashion brand her 'fifth child' to Vogue Australia

The fashion designer opened up about her maternal feelings towards her eponymous fashion brand to the power house.

The 42-year-old boldly declared to the iconic publication: "'I live and breathe this brand seven days a week: I never switch off, I never go on holiday and turn my phone or email off."

Before adding: "This is my fifth child.'

She may have the perfect family and a successful singing career under her belt but it's the success of her label that makes Vic pinch herself.

She revealed: "What I’ve accomplished within 10 years is far more than I could have dreamed.

"I feel like I’ve been doing this a lifetime."

And it didn't come easy for the star, she acknowledged that she had to dance to the beat of her own drum when starting out as:

"There was a way in the industry of doing things…I knew there were rules I had to abide by

"But I wanted to be entrepreneurial and find different ways of doing things."

The mum-of-four acknowledged that making the transition from being one fifth of the Spice Girls to a respected fashion designer was not going to be easy:

But despite achieving the heights of success that she has Victoria's not going to be resting on her laurels any time soon:

"There have been great moments along the way, winning awards, selling well

"But for me, getting success is one thing and maintaining it is something completely different.

"I’m always head down, focused, on to the next thing."

Victoria recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her label by dancing along to some of the Spice Girls biggest hits.

The clearly nostalgic former Spice Girl, 44, seemed in the mood for celebrating after making her debut outing at the prestigious industry event.

The singer-turned fashionista was seen leaping on a chair to dance to her former band's smash hit tune.

And it was like it was 1997 all over again, as Victoria hadn't forgotten a single dance move – owning the makeshift dancefloor as she happily waved her hands while slamming it to the left and shaking it to the right.

It seems that Victoria does need some positivity, as it was recently revealed that her fashion brand has lost a total of £12million over eight years.

But in an interview broadcast on Radio 2 Saturday night, she described her money-bleeding eponymous brand as her “fifth child.”

She said: “This feels like my fifth child, this brand. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t care, I do.

“I feel like I’m standing naked in front of a room full of people saying, ‘What do you think?

“I’m so focused, none of this has just been given to me. I work really, really hard, my whole team works hard.

“So I probably never sort of high five myself which maybe I should do more often because what I have achieved is great.
