Strictly wardrobe expert Vicky Gill says stars are ‘disappearing’ in weight

Strictly Come Dancing’s Head of Wardrobe Vicky Gill has revealed the stars of the show are "disappearing" through weight loss.

The wardrobe expert has struggled a great deal with having to take in hundreds of gowns and suits since the first week, and said the measurements have wildly changed since the first day of training.

On It Takes Two, Zoe Ball asked the fashionista what was happening with their looks, as she asked: "You see the celebs and they are all changing in body shape, the men and the women, all losing weight.

"Are you taking everything in?"

Vicky replied: "Taking loads in – all of them, the whole cast.

"They’re just disppearing before our eyes, and we’re just giggling in wardrobe because we’re just eating much more sugar and whatever during the process, but they look fantastic."

Zoe agreed, saying they "do look amazing," and there have been many stories of the group’s changing look over the last few weeks.

Graeme Swann has already revealed how he can slip back into his old wedding suit since he started taking part in the dance contest, and the same can be said for these two as they take to the floor after hours of rehearsals.

He revealed on Loose Women: "This is actually my old wedding suit.

"I’ve not fit into it for nine years and now I can!"

And Kate Silverton told MirrorOnline: "I think I’ve lost a stone already, it’s the Aljaz school of weight loss.

"And my husband is very happy about that… nudge nudge. I feel liberated too!
