Stranger Things star announces they've wrapped filming on season 3

The wait for Stranger Things season three has been an agonising one, but it’s now one step closer to being over.

Actor David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on the hit Netflix show, has revealed that he’s wrapped filming on the show’s third season via his Instagram account.

The star uploaded a photo of himself hiding his eyes with a cap featuring a Hawkins business known as Gary’s, keeping the focus on his famous facial hair, which looks like it won’t be hanging around for long.

He wrote: “Wrapped. Everyone say ‘goodbye mustache’.

“If you need any info on what’s good in Hawkins while I’m away, give Gary a call. He can’t keep his damn mouth shut. #spoilerswithoutcontext#awfullogos #facecaterpillar #bestjobever#fletch #speilbergeatyourheartout.”

We’ve also got photos from the filming of the season three finale, which show Eleven actress Millie Bobby Brown wearing some baggy trousers, and two stars enjoying a heartfelt embrace while an army looks ready for a fight.

Proving that he is the coolest guy around, David Harbour officiated a wedding between fans in September after they asked him if he would on Twitter at the start of the year.

Now that he’s finished filming season three, maybe he’ll do more weddings in his free time?

Apparently the third run of the show will be the ‘grossest’ one yet – and it’s also going to feature a major comeback.

Stranger Things’ first two seasons are available to stream on Netflix right now, with season three expected to land in 2019.
