Sarah Ferguson tells Piers Morgan to "get a life" after his cringeworthy question on Good Morning Britain

Sarah Ferguson refused to indulge Piers Morgan’s silliness on Good Morning Britain this morning (November 21) after he asked whether she had any plans to remarry ex-husband Prince Andrew.

The Duchess of York was appearing on the ITV show with Piers and Susanna Reid to raise awareness for the charity Street Child – which aims to provide education to disadvantaged children worldwide – before their conversation moved on to the royal weddings this year.

Piers commented that Sarah looks so happy with her ex-husband Andrew, and that members of the public are asking whether they would ever remarry.

When he asked whether there was “any flicker of chance”, Sarah laughed it off and called the presenter a “romantic”, while Susanna branded him “naughty”.

“What I love about that is that I am different and he’s different,” she then answered diplomatically.

Piers then told Sarah they were running out of time and barked: “Give me an answer, yes or no? Potential remarriage?”

To that the duchess moved her hands in a shooing gesture towards Piers, before replying: “Piers, get a life!”

The studio erupted in laughter and Susanna quipped: “We’ll take that as a no!”

“Sarah, never change – you’ve never changed and I love you dearly,” Piers conceded. “So fabulous to have you on the programme.”

Meanwhile, reflecting on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding in May, Sarah recalled: “I felt really happy for my friend Diana, who I love, and my mum and dad, and I felt honoured and grateful for Harry and Meghan to invite me.

“It was very kind of them and I can’t thank them enough for doing that.”

GMB airs weekdays on ITV.
