Sam Bird reveals he split from Georgia Steel after he found secret selfie of her in bed with ex four days ago

The Love Island hunk, 25, discovered X-rated messages Georgia sent to her ex-boyfriend on her phone and also a picture of them in bed together.

Sam believes she led a "double life" behind his back and also boasted to her pals about her infidelities.

The gym-owner, who moved to Essex with Georgia following their stint on Love Island where she coined her "I'm loyal" catchphrase, became suspicious of her behaviour on Monday when she failed to return to their home from a PA.

As soon as he had the chance, Sam looked through her phone and was left “heartbroken” after reading a WhatsApp chat between Georgia and her closest pal which revealed she had stayed the night at her ex-boyfriend's house. And it wasn't the first time.

To his horror, he also found a picture Georgia, 20, had sent to a pal of herself in bed with her former lover wearing the same earrings and makeup she had on for her PA.

In screen grabs obtained by The Sun that we can’t print for legal reasons, Georgia said to her pals she was “more than okay” to have been with her ex.

Sam also found a conversation between Georgia and her ex about age gaps where she said bluntly: "I care about your d*** to be honest."

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, a distraught Sam said: “After the ITV Gala I sensed something was wrong – I had a gut feeling.

“Georgia told me she stayed with a friend after being at a PA, she said she came home and then went back out to a friend's but that didn’t seem plausible.

“I looked at her phone and found messages she sent to her mates and one of them had a selfie of her in bed with her ex and she put the word ‘oops’ and joked about it and I thought that’s not right.

“My gut feeling was found to be true. She’s not the person I thought she was.”

Former dancer Georgia told her followers today “Sam thinks I cheated because he went through my phone, read and took screen shots of banter I had between me and my best mate.”

But Sam says: “Telling your ex you want their d*** isn’t banter. I saw these messages late at night while she was asleep and I screenshot them so she couldn’t lie about it. I wanted proof so she couldn’t get out of it.

“She claims she was giving things back to her ex – you don’t give things back at 4am. She said she stayed with her ex once but it happened twice.

“She said nothing happened and she stayed in the spare room but there’s a selfie of them together in bed. She’s not telling the truth which is why I wanted to defend myself.”

A spokesman for Georgia said: “Georgia admits to spending the night with her ex on Monday but strongly denies cheating on Sam.”

This week Georgia reiterated that she’s a loyal girlfriend telling The Sun: “Everyone has been so surprised that my relationship with Sam is still going strong – but we work because my loyalty is a trait in me that Sam really likes.”

But Sam has been left devastated by the betrayal and wants to tell the world about her dishonesty.

He said: “I feel heartbroken; the last three months have been a total lie.

“I was so shocked she would do that to me. She’s been living a double life. I’ve never been cheated on before.

“I was in love with her. She doesn’t understand cheating isn’t just doing something physical, it is being disloyal to your boyfriend – taking a selfie with your ex in bed is cheating, sending inappropriate messages is cheating.

“When a person has to say they’re loyal that many times – if that’s your trait and you want to emphasise that then that’s clearly something you don’t have. It is laughable.

“I told her ‘you aren’t loyal’ and she still tried to claim she was but I kept saying you’ve cheated, cheating is cheating.”

Georgia’s “loyalty” was first questioned after she instigated a kiss with Jack Fowler while he was dating Laura Anderson on the show.

It wasn’t until Georgia left the villa and was played a clip of the scene that she held her hands up to the wrongdoing.
