One of Simon Cowell's exes says locked up Charles Bronson sang a love song down the phone as he bombarded her with calls

The lifer, 66, left three messages on Jasmine Lennard’s landline after they swapped letters.

In one, to the tune of the Stevie Wonder hit, he crooned: “I just called to say how lovely you are.”

Bronson ended another: “Bloody love ya.” He asked the underwear model to Frankland jail, Co Durham, and sent her a rose, chocs and art.

They began writing after she rowed online with his wife Paula Williamson. Jasmine, 33, of West London, is unsure how he got her number.

She said of his calls: “It’s sweet but spooky. Not exactly what you expect to come home to.”

Bronson also did his best Del Boy impression for the beauty, mimicking the Only Fools and Horses legend with the phrase: “Lovely jubbly.”

Jasmine, former lover of X Factor guru Simon Cowell, said: “I was totally gobsmacked.”

Bronson, Britain’s most violent criminal, who calls himself ‘Chazzer’ has set his sights on Jasmine, 33, after moving on from his cheating wife.

In his first of three messages left on Jasmine’s home phone, Bronson can be heard rasping; “Is that Jazz?”

During his time inside he has taken hostages in 10 prison siege, attacked at least 20 officers and caused £500,000 in damage in rooftop protests.

Bronson, who does 2,000 press-ups a day, now claims to be a 'changed man', and has passed a number of violence reduction courses in jail and is appealing against his life sentence.

He has been jailed for most of the last 44 years – 37 of which have been in solitary confinement.
