New 'Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina' Trailer Proves It's The Creepy Horror Show You've Been Waiting For

Welcome to Greendale, witches and wizards!

Netflix dropped the latest trailer for the forthcoming and highly-anticipated horror series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and it’s definitely the one show you need to see this October. Although it was developed by the producers of Riverdale, make no mistake: This series is vastly different from the world of Archie Andrews. On the opposite side of Sweetwater River lies Greendale — a town anchored by exorcisms, demons, Sweet 16 baptisms, and witchcraft. In the midst of this madness, arises the story of a young half-witch, half-mortal girl named Sabrina Spellman who’s on the cusp of some crazy, chilling adventures.

Mad Men‘s Kiernan Shipka plays the titular role on the 10-episode Netflix series. Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa also wrote the comic book that the Netflix version of Sabrina is based on.

When Sabrina turns 16, she must decide whether to embrace her witchy prowess or choosing her mortal life. Based on the trailer, it appears that Sabrina is desperately struggling to make that choice. Sabrina does not want to sign her name in Dark Lord Satan’s creepy book, but she also doesn’t mind leaning into her evil side if the moment calls for it. From the amped up, horror versions of Aunt Zelda and Aunt Hilda to conjuring spirits, this show will surely be a delight.

On a scale of one to Archiekins, how excited are you about Netflix’s rendition of Sabrina? Check out the trailer below and then hit the comments and tell us what you think about the upcoming series.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will commence on Netflix on Oct. 26.
