Netflix cancels both The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale and The Break With Michelle Wolf

While Netflix continues to experiment and diversify, some shows are falling by the wayside.

Two of the broadcaster’s talkshows have been cancelled, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale and The Break with Michelle Wolf are no more after their final episodes.

The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale ran for just 19 episodes from February to July of this year.

While the first 13 episodes were released one per week after the February 18 premiere, the final six episodes were released simultaneously on July 15.

The Break with Michelle Wolf had just ten episodes, launching on May 27 this year with special guest Amber Ruffin and ending on July 29.

Wolf had been in the headlines prior to the launch when she hosted the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner.

Netflix is still in the market for talkshows despite the cancellations, with no word yet that My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman is being axed after its six episode plus one special run earlier this year.

Joel McHale fans wanting to see him in a Community movie now his talkshow is over may have to wait longer.

Joel, who played mature law student Jeff Winger in the hit sitcom, has suggested that creator Dan Harmon may be too busy with Rick and Morty.

He also added that his co-star Donald Glover may well be priced out of things, what with him becoming a massive Hollywood superstar now and everything.
