Marnie Simpson hits back after cruel trolls say she looks ‘plastic’ in new pic

Taking to Instagram, the reality TV star shared a candid snap from a recent meal out but fans couldn't help but comment on Marnie's facial features.

Marnie can be seen donning an oversized red hoodie and a black top with plunging neckline as she dined in an Italian restaurant.

To enhance her striking aesthetic, Marnie donned ivy green eye lenses and she used an eyebrow tint pen.

Fans were surprised by the shine on Marnie's forehead with many assuming this was down to non-invasive surgical enhancements, though it could also have been worsened by overhead lighting and camera flash.

One follower warned the star: "Looks like plastic on your face."

Another put: "I don't normally comment on pictures but please stop getting fillers… You were and still are beautiful but it looks like it's becoming excessive. This is not to make you feel bad."

A third follower commented: "Looks like you slathered your face in vaseline."

Other fans questioned if the shining glow was due to sweat or an allergic reaction.

Marnie hit back at the trolls by sharing a screenshot on her Instagram story.

She added the caption: "To think people have the time to type comments this long."

However, some followers jumped to Marnie's defence and scolded the cruel trolls.

One put: "The reason she gets work done is because of trolls like on Instagram. Feel for the poor girl. I would hate to be judged on every photo I publish of myself. Another example of an insecure girl because of the world around her."

A second said: "I think you look mint!"

Last October the Geordie Shore babe revealed that she was taking a cosmetic hiatus after numerous procedures have left her body botched.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Marnie said that she was left "really affected" by two women dying after having the controversial Brazilian butt-lift surgery.

She admitted it made her: "Scared to ever do it again myself. Surgery is just too risky."
