Killing Eve season 2 picture may have confirmed this character survives

Note: This article contains major spoilers for Killing Eve season 1 episode 8.

The rather brilliant Killing Eve ended in dramatic fashion… but a filming picture may have revealed a major spoiler for the upcoming second season.

The BBC thriller’s first season is available to watch in its entirety on iPlayer, but for those watching at BBC One pace, you probably don’t want to continue reading as the article will delve into the events of the season 1 finale.

In season 1 episode 8 ‘God, I’m Tired’, Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle’s handler Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) meets with Villanelle (Jodie Comer) at a cafe.

During the stand-off, Villanelle shoots Konstantin and flees. Afterwards, Eve is informed that Konstantin died as a result of the gun wound.

But is he dead?

This picture shows that Bodnia has been shooting with Comer for the second season – and his character is actually on better terms with Villanelle…

Or could it be a flashback scene?

Villanelle herself finds herself close to dying, after being stabbed by Eve in the season’s final scenes. However, the assassin manages to get away.

Killing Eve‘s second season will premiere in 2019, and the great news for UK viewers is that there will be considerably less of a wait between the US and UK broadcasts.

Meanwhile, showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been confirmed to be turning over writing duties to Call the Midwife‘s Emerald Fennell.
