Kerry Katona pretends to slur as she relives disastrous This Morning interview

Kerry Katona jokingly slurred as she mimicked her chaotic This Morning interview from 2008.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 37, opened up about her addiction and struggle with depression.

However Kerry was in a good mood as she made a joke about the incident with Phillip Schofield on This Morning today.

Kerry had been accused of being drunk because of the way she was speaking and acting during the interview 10 years ago. However she claimed that her behaviour was a result of her bipolar medication at the time.


Now, she appeared to be able to laugh at herself when Holly asked where she was today.

Kerry quipped: "I’m on This Morning."

Laughing, she added: "I didn’t know where I was last time!"

Kerry, who has been clean for almost 10 years, revealed she wanted to help others in the same position she had been years ago.

After looking back at clips from her life, she said: "I think Steven Spielberg couldn’t write most of that… I think I’ve done really well to overcome it."

Speaking about the time her life "spiraled out of control" and resulted in her addiction to drugs and alcohol.


She also spoke about how worried she had been that she was suffering from depression as he mum had and would try to kill herself.

Kerry said: "I got Molly and Lilly’s tattooed on my wrists [because I thought] I’d have to be really selfish to slice through my children’s names."

The former singer added that she "felt ashamed" over her addiction and said she "felt loss".

"I thought the easiest thing would be to end my life," she said. "If my children were to go online and read all these horrific stories about me I thought it was better if I wasn’t alive."

However Kerry revealed that she had become better since going sober and hoped to help others in the same positition.
