The 30-year-old has now successfully finished his treatment plan and is looking forward to the future with Gemma Collins – which includes buying their first home together.
Arg and Gemma’s on-off relationship has played out on screen for the past six years but the pair are now happier than ever.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Arg said he’s never felt better and is happily planning his next moves with Gemma, both professionally and personally.
He explained: My programme finished a few weeks ago and I’m feeling so much better. I’m ready to step up and be the man Gemma deserves.
“I’m hoping to return to Towie soon and Gemma and I are looking to get our own show together too!”
Gemma, 37, supported Arg throughout his time in rehab and looked happier than ever as she posed up for OK! Magazine with him.
The Towie veteran said she was now looking forward to moving onto a new chapter of her life with Arg.
She said: “We’re in the process of buying our first house together.
“We’ve started looking at a few places in Essex so fingers crossed we’ll be moving into somewhere later this year.”
And that commitment isn’t the only one Gemma is looking for from Arg.
In the interview admitted she longed to get married to Arg and joked she needed a very special ring.

Gemma quipped: “I’m not getting any younger so James needs to start thinking about proposing soon!
“I’m the GC at the end of the day, I won’t stand for a single solitaire diamond – I want something unique!”
