Hollyoaks‘ storm week got off to a thunderous start tonight (October 19) as Romeo finally revealed to James that he’s his son.
With Harry set to marry Ste, James had been drowning his sorrows in front of Romeo, who he’d previously asked to jeopardise their wedding.
But as James dramatically informed Romeo that he now has no one left to love in the world, his secret son dropped the huge bombshell.
With the drama kicking off in all directions – Harry also left a voice message to James confessing his love and promising to call off the wedding – viewers praised the action-packed episode.
One (very excited caps lock on) viewer tweeted: “THAT WAS AMAZING. HARRY LEAVING THAT MESSAGE FOR JAMES SAYING HE LOVES HIM. JAMES SAYING HE’S GONNA BE ALONE FOREVER AND ROMEO TELLING HIM HE’S HIS SON. I. AM. LIVING. I LOVE MY BEST SOAP.”
While another wrote: “JARRY EXPOSED, JAMES KNOWS ROMEO’S HIS SON, AND WE HAVE TO WAIT TIL MONDAY????? I CAN’TTTT”
And just to top things off, the episode also featured an unlikely cameo from Good Morning Britain presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, who reported on the fictional storm ‘Belinda’ that’s about to hit Hollyoaks.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
