Hollyoaks star Parry Glasspool has weighed in on the ongoing Starry vs. Jarry debate on Twitter.
Parry’s character Harry Thompson has been at the centre of a complex love triangle for the last few months, leaving the Hollyoaks fanbase very divided over who they want him to be with.
Monday’s first look episode (October 22) saw Ste finally discover the truth about Harry’s affair with James shortly after they tied the knot, and so we were naturally keen to get Parry’s thoughts on the whole thing.
But actually, Parry was remaining very diplomatic on the matter, saying to Digital Spy at the Inside Soap Awards tonight: “A lot of Starry fans have been jumping boat, although we have a solid few still going. Any reaction is a positive one, so I will take it.
“I don’t have any strong feelings [on who Harry should be with]. They both have ups and downs and reasons for and reasons against. It’s hard to say – I wouldn’t want to alienate anyone.”
Addressing James actor Gregory Finnegan’s recent claims about his eating habits on set, Parry said jokingly: “I am a guy who likes to keep in shape.
“I like to eat healthy stuff. He doesn’t like it as I may eat it before kissing scenes – a bit of salmon, or tuna!”
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
