Hollyoaks just dropped a whopper of a bombshell about Louis Loveday – he’s married to Simone’s sister Martine.
Former Eternal singer Kelle Bryan has landed the part of Martine, who arrived in Chester tonight (October 5), hot on the heels of Louis’s return.
Fans had been aware that Martine would be dropping a big bombshell the minute she turned up in the village, but her connection to Louis had been kept under wraps until transmission.
Louis has spent the summer abroad but it became increasingly clear that he was hiding a secret from his partner Leela when they reunited in Friday’s first-look scenes.
Although Leela was delighted to have him back, it was obvious that Louis had something that he needed to get off his chest and all was soon revealed later on in the episode.
As Louis prepared for a quiet night in with Leela, he was shocked to find air hostess Martine standing on his doorstop.
However, when Louis demanded to know what she was doing, Martine responded by saying: “Is that any way to talk to your wife?”
Viewers will have to tune in next week to find out how Martine and Louis’s secret nuptials came about, but things are about to get a whole lot more complicated when he sleeps with her sister Simone.
As Louis struggles to juggle the three women in his life, one thing is for sure: there are going to be fireworks…
