Holly Willoughby goes makeup free ahead of I’m A Celebrity launch alongside Declan Donnelly and his wife Ali

The telly favourite, 37, grabbed coffee with her co-host on Australia's Gold Coast.

The star seemed in good spirits as she enjoyed her downtime – just hours before she prepares to kick off the new series of the show alongside Declan.

And it was clearly a much-needed break for Holly after she was left terrified in the I’m A Celebrity jungle following a close encounter with two deadly snakes.

She was given a fright after two deadly brown snakes slithered just feet from her and the production team's feet as the stars of the show competed in a canoe race.

A show source told the Sunday Mirror: “Snakes do appear during the show sometimes but this was the first time Holly has seen them close at hand which was a bit scary and one was very close to a member of production’s feet, thankfully not hers.

“They had to be taken out of the area before filming could continue and luckily Holly kept her composure and carried on like a true pro.”

The stars of the show have been split into a red team and a yellow team, and some have jumped and parachuted out of a helicopter while the remainder walk in.

Holly has been out in Australia for almost a week as she prepares for the new series launch tonight.

She's been taking part in rehearsals and getting to know the crew.

Bob McCarron has been working with Holly as well as the contestants and he's convinced she's the biggest scaredy cat of the lot.

He said: "Holly’s more scared than all the celebrities put together, I’m not joking.

"All I have to do is talk to her and look at the floor and she goes: ‘What’s on the floor?’

"What are you looking at the floor for?’ When they do the trials I think they need a camera just on Holly because she’ll be squirming."
