She’s also asked to predict the outcome of the 2020 election on Colbert.
Hillary Clinton just can’t pick a side.
It’s been a month since Clinton appeared on "The Late Show," but host Stephen Colbert kept some footage he released Friday night.
In a pre-taped bit titled "Just One Question with Hillary Clinton," the former Secretary of State answered questions from Colbert’s staff, including whether she knew the location of a person’s keys, her predictions for the 2020 election, and her favorite political movie.
The most random (and hilarious) question was when a writer asked the politician if she was more a fan of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson or Vin Diesel.
"What a tough question. Boy, the ‘Fast and Furious’ movies proved that both are masters of high-octane action," she said. "And while ‘The Rock’ is an indispensable part of the later films, Vin Diesel is really the heart at the center of the Toretto family."
"And in the end, everyone is better off to look past what divides them and work together," she added. "You know, I like to say, ‘stronger together.’"
"You’re a smart lady," the writer replied.
When asked to name her favorite political movie, Clinton answered, "Probably ‘Manchurian Candidate.’" The 1962 thriller was based on the book of the same name, focusing on an American brainwashed into becoming a sleeper agent for communists. Many have joked that President Donald Trump, Clinton’s 2016 political rival, is a "Manchurian candidate."
"Do you think the Democrats have a chance of taking back the White House in the next election?" another writer asked.
Clinton answered that she didn’t "want to make any predictions about 2020" and joked that she is "saving" her thoughts on the matter for her new book "What Will Happen: a Book of Predictions: Hillary Clinton and Paul the Psychic Octopus."
