Gemma Collins and Jason Gardiner are BOTH to blame for furious Dancing On Ice row says co-star James Jordan as he refuses to take sides in feud

The Sun revealed yesterday that a war has broken out behind-the-scenes between the TV star and the Australian ice skating judge following their row on Sunday night.

And now former Strictly pro James, 40, has weighed in on the feud and said that he doesn't find their arguments "great TV".

Speaking on today's Good Morning Britain, James, who appeared with wife Ola, said: "I think both of them are to blame for that.

"I don't think it's only Gemma. I don't think it's great TV for me personally. However, I have a relationship with Gemma where I can speak to her how I want.

"If she does something I don't like, I tell her."

His comments come after The Sun revealed Jason believes he deserves an apology after celebrity skater Gemma blasted him live on air.

The choreographer told ITV chiefs Gemma should be reprimanded, and refused to join colleagues after filming on Sunday.

Show bosses frantically tried to calm Gemma as she raged off stage about Jason and host Holly Willoughby, who made a tongue-in-cheek joke.

Jason, 47, gave Gemma a score of just 3.0 and said her performance with pro partner Matt Evers, below, lacked elegance.

Gemma, 37, hit back: "Maybe if you didn’t sell stories on me, I wouldn’t be so upset this week, so take that."

Introducing former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton, Holly, 37, goaded: "Let's get the inside story as she skates to a song from West Side Story, nobody sold that story that’s for sure."

An insider revealed: "Gemma was furious backstage — but so was Jason. They're both very strong-minded so there was no chance either of them would back down after the show.

"Behind the scenes the atmosphere is even more toxic now. Two of the most prominent people on the show are at war."

Producers are now desperate to stop the icy exchanges and to thaw hostility between the pair.
