Fleur East lands amazing new gig – meaning fans will see a lot more of her

Fleur East has landed a role as fitness presenter on This Morning, her first big move since I’m a Celebrity.

ITV bosses were impressed by the 31-year-old’s “infectious personality” on the jungle show and quickly snapped her up.

Fleur will front a new health and fitness series, called Inch Loss Island, from tomorrow.

And for her first stint on the breakfast show, she will be back in the tropical heat, presenting live from Antigua.

Londoner Fleur said: “I’m getting whisked away and will be following This Morning viewers on their weight-loss journey.

“I am really into my fitness, it’s a real passion of mine. I get more energy and I get my creative juices flowing more.”

But she admitted being nervous over her new job. She added: “I am terrified.”

challenges

Revealing why the former X Factor star was chosen, a This Morning insider said: “She’s a perfect fit for This Morning. She’s fun, instantly likeable and a fitness fanatic.”

Three viewers are being sent to Inch Loss Island where they will take on a more “holistic approach to their fitness”.

A source said: “They will take on a number of challenges including kayaking across Mamora Bay, a zip line challenge, float fit and aqua aerobics, sunset yoga and spa treatments.”

This Morning’s Dr Zoe Williams joins Fleur to tackle exercise and diet. Therapists Nik and Eva Speakman will be looking into any mental factors that could affect health.

Holly Willoughby will be back alongside Phillip Schofield for the first time since she co-hosted I’m a Celebrity, which pulled in 12 million viewers and was won by Harry Redknapp.
