Fiji Water Girl Lands Gig on The Bold and the Beautiful After Her Viral Golden Globes Moment

From Fiji Water girl to soap opera star!

Weeks after Kelleth Cuthbert stole the show at the 76th annual Golden Globe Awards for photobombing a number of stars on the red carpet, she’s back in the front of the cameras on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Cuthbert posted a photo to Instagram last week with several cast members from the CBS soap opera, including Nia Sioux, Heather Tom, Courtney Hope, and Darin Brooks.

“Thank you to the lovely folks of @boldandbeautifulcbs for having me yesterday!” she captioned the group shot.

But while she wasn’t photobombing in that particular shot, the show — which is currently in its 32nd season — shared two photos on their own account featuring Cuthbert doing what she does best.

In one shot, the model stood between two actresses as they rehearsed their lines, with the same look on her face she had during the Globes while holding a tray of water bottles.

The other, however, featured Cuthbert smiling and holding the tray towards her face, while three actors stood alongside her mid-conversation.

“Look who was on the #BoldandBeautiful set today! ? #ifyouknowyouknow,” read the caption of the photobombed images on Instagram.

Cuthbert’s episode is set to air on Feb. 6, a rep at CBS confirmed to PEOPLE. The one-episode guest appearance will see Cuthbert take on the role of “Raine,” who is a Forrester Creations model.

On Jan. 6, Cuthbert became the talk of the night after she stood behind stars on the red carpet with her tray of Fiji Water.

Cuthbert, who usually works as a fashion model and commercial actress, said she wasn’t intentionally trying to steal the spotlight — but rather her modeling instincts took over. Of her big Golden Globes moment, Cuthbert explained that the photos simply came about by “looking at the camera at the right time.”

“There’s tons of photographers everywhere. It doesn’t matter where you stand, you’re in the crossfire of every shot,” she explained to PEOPLE. “You’ve gotta have good face, at least, if you’re gonna be hovering in the background frequently.”

As the evening went on, Cuthbert quickly became one of the most talked about topics on social media. The model, however, was unaware of her instantaneous fame as she stood on the carpet phone-less.

“I had absolutely no idea what was happening because I obviously didn’t have my phone on me,” she said of the social media craze happening while she worked.

“I felt very cut off from everything. I didn’t find out until the last stragglers of the red carpet were heading into the awards ceremony, and all these people walking by started shoving their phones in my face and showing me that I was trending on Twitter, but I didn’t understand the magnitude of it till later,” she added.

Despite going viral, with more than 50,000 tweets sent out about her on Twitter in just a few short hours, there was one person who was not thrilled with Cuthbert’s photobombing skills.

Jamie Lee Curtis shared her displeasure on Instagram recently after discovering that, despite her best efforts, she was photobombed in a picture.

“I specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji and Moet where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera. I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn’t want to be doing advertising for either,” Curtis explained in her caption.

“Clearly this angle shows that I moved from her being behind me and yet from the side it still happens,” she continued. “The sponsors of events need to get permission from people when they get them to take their picture next to products.”
