The Steps singer is wowing the judges and the viewers at home with her routines with dance partner Giovanni Pernice every week.
However her achievements have come at a price, with the 42-year-old's husband Michael telling OK! Magazine: "It looks like she’s been attacked – the bruises are ridiculous.
"Faye puts 100 per cent into it – she doesn’t do things by halves!"
Faye and Giovanni received two tens and a score of 38 on Saturday night's show for their impressive tango to Blondie's Call Me.
She has managed to top the leaderboard on a number of occasions and Michael couldn't be more proud of his wife.
He added: "Faye is so enthusiastic and determined. She puts the hours in, so her results are only fair."
Michael also revealed how much he had noticed a change in his wife's physique since she started Strictly training.
He said: "Faye’s tiny. She’s changed shape completely and is totally toned.
"She looks like a professional athlete."
For her part, Faye said they intense training and bruises are worth it, telling the publication: "It's a life box ticked – I don't want Strictly to end!"
She also praised her husband, who is looking after their son Benjamin while she trains with Giovanni.
She said: "Michael’s been amazing, so supportive. It’s so lovely that he comes down every week.
"I can’t imagine if he wasn’t there – having him there brings me luck!
"We are seeing less of each other. I’ve done musical theatre tours and I’ve been away before, but we made a pact early on in our relationship that we’d never be away from each other for more than three weeks."
