The television presenter was attending the American television awards show alongside her husband, Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker.
But while Charlie won his writing award, Konnie stole the show with a brief appearance in the audience as he thanked her.
One viewer tweeted: "omg konnie huq sighting <3"
A second added: "Never not down for more Konnie Huq on my screen. #bluepeterbaby"
Another wrote: "Konnie Huq on NBC is a nice sight. A long way from Milkshake."
A fourth said: "Every time i see konnie huq in the audience next to charlie brooker at these awards shows the blue peter british kid in me cheers loudly"
Konnie's husband Charlie, who won two of the awards last year for the same show, scooped the prize for writing for a limited series, movie or dramatic special along with William Bridge.
The USS Callister episode starred Jesse Plemons and features a dark twist on classic sci-fi show Star Trek.
Brooker said the episode was inspired by both Star Trek and The Twilight Zone.
Claire Foy and Matt Smith are expected to be the big British winners tonight with both stars nominated for their roles in The Crown.
This is the final chance for the pair to win big at the Emmys after the pair handed over their crowns to Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies.
Sandra Oh, star of Killing Eve, also made history by becoming the first woman of Asian descent to be nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
