Emmerdale's Lucy Pargenter and Zoe Henry go make-up free as cast arrive at hotel to prepare for the National Television Awards red carpet

The popular ITV soap is up for four awards at tonight's ceremony, including Best Serial Drama which will see them battle it out against Coronation Street, EastEnders and Hollyoaks.

Leading the cast to their lodgings for the night was Lucy, who is nominated for Best Serial Drama Performance alongside castmate Emma Atkins.

The soap actress, who plays Chas Dingle, opted to go make-up free as she let her brunette locks frame her face.

Lucy looked chic in a pair of grey skinny jeans, leather jacket and an Alexander McQueen-inspired scarf following their train journey from Leeds.

Following her lead, Zoe, who plays Rhona Goskirk, wrapped up in a navy pea coat which she teamed with a pair of plaid trousers as she carried a Paul Smith dress bag.

The soap star mimicked Lucy's fresh-faced appearance while co-stars Anthony Quinlan and James Hooton followed quickly behind.

Emmerdale took home the coveted Best Serial Drama award last year and will be keen to do the same this year.

Soap newbie James Moore, who plays Charity Dingle's long-lost son Ryan Stocks, is also up for his NTA in the Newcomer category.

Elsewhere, Ant & Dec will be battling it out for their 18th consecutive Best Presenter award, although they won't be in attendance due to a filming clash with Britain's Got Talent.

As well as their presenter nomination, their show Saturday Night Takeaway is up for the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award against I'm A Celebrity, The Graham Norton Show, Love Island and All Round to Mrs Brown's.

While Bodyguard, A Discovery Of Witches, Girlfriends, Killing Eve and The Cry will battled it out in the New Drama category.

The awards will be hosted by Dermot O’Leary for the tenth consecutive year and will be broadcast live on ITV from The O2, London at 7:30pm.
