Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle left devastated again in emotional Sarah Sugden scenes

Emmerdale‘s Debbie Dingle is left devastated next week when she’s cut off from her daughter Sarah on a momentous day.

Debbie (Charley Webb) has been put in police custody after she finally came clean over her role in Ross Barton’s acid attack.

Early next week, Sarah (Katie Hill) is stunned to hear of Debbie’s predicament, but it’s soon overshadowed by some big news about her own future.

The transplant coordinator comes to see Sarah and reveals that they’ve finally found her a new heart.

As Sarah panics, Debbie is allowed to come to see her at the hospital, but she’s handcuffed to a prison guard as she desperately tries to comfort her daughter.

Once Sarah is wheeled out for the operation, Debbie struggles to cope and fears that she’ll never see her again.

Later, back in custody, Debbie breaks down in tears and is full of guilt over how she can’t be at Sarah’s side.

At the hospital, Faith and Charity are concerned when the doctors can’t give any definitive answers on Sarah’s condition. Will she be okay?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday (October 15) at 7pm on ITV.
